While central and northern Scotland may catch a few rays early on, expect it to be a bit cooler with temperatures struggling to reach double digits. There's also a slight chance of a passing shower, so it may be wise to keep an umbrella to hand just in case. Winds will be gustier here, so do brace yourself if you’re venturing out. In Northern Ireland, there's a similar pattern to Scotland, albeit with drier conditions overall. The day begins cool, but as the sun manages to break through, temperatures will mend slightly, reaching highs of around 12°C. An occasional breeze might sweep by, enhancing the chill. Lastly, into the east of England, the dry theme continues, with sunny spells expected from early on, promising a bright day ahead. It's a fine day here for a visit to the coast or simply taking in the sights around your local area.
