Winds are a bit more noticeable here, so you might want to keep a snug cardigan handy for the breeze. As we move northward into the Midlands, we'll see the mercury climb to a comfy 14°C, with the occasional light shower possible. These brief spells of rain shouldn't put too much of a damper on your plans, especially with sunny intervals making an appearance through the day. Northern England is enjoying dry conditions, with sunshine stretching through the morning hours. Temps are a touch cooler, peaking around 12°C, and the winds remain gentle but could pick up a bit by the afternoon. In Scotland, particularly central and northern regions, it’s a little breezier with highs hovering near 12°C. You’ll want to keep an eye out for sunnier skies come late afternoon; perfect timing for perhaps a scenic evening walk. Wales experiences a mild day as well, with highs climbing to 15°C. There could be some light spots of rain here, mixed with fair sunshine overall. Meanwhile, over in Northern Ireland, expect similar conditions to Wales, albeit a few degrees cooler, with sunny skies gracing the later part of the day, encouraging you to stretch your legs after dinner.
