Winds will be noticeable but not especially disruptive, so worth keeping a waterproof handy if you’re out and about. For the south-west and some western coastal areas, expect a breezier day with a little patchy drizzle possible, but there should be decent sunny spells by the afternoon. Temperatures here will sit close to 20°C, though the wind may take the edge off near the coast. Scotland looks to keep a springlike mix of cloud and brightness, with the breeziest conditions more likely around exposed coastal and northern areas. No major weather disruption is indicated, but it may feel fresher than farther south. Overall, a decent day for many once early rain clears — warmest and driest through central and eastern parts, more changeable in the west and north.
