Expect a damp start particularly around mid-morning, with some showers set to pass through. However, as the day goes on, the skies should brighten a touch, leading to a fresher afternoon with temperatures nudging into the double digits. Heading further north into Scotland, it’s generally looking a dry day with scattered clouds and occasional sunny spells, particularly in central areas. It remains mild but windy, so if you're planning a walk, it’s worth wrapping up a bit to fend off the chill from the breeze. Similarly, Northern Ireland starts the day on a wet and windy note. It’s set to clear out towards the afternoon, providing some respite after a rainy morning.
