Down in the south-west, while the odd shower is possible, particularly in the early morning, it’s set to be the mildest spot in the country today, with temperatures reaching nearly 13 degrees. Winds are on the brisk side, so perhaps hold off on the seaside walks until it settles. Finally, the east of England is also in for some showers this morning, easing as the day goes on. Temperatures are flirting with the 9-degree mark there. Do keep an eye out for puddles if you’re on the roads or the footpaths, as water is likely to linger in spots after some substantial rainfall.
