Moving over to Scotland, we're consistently seeing temperatures hanging close to freezing overnight, especially in the central and northern parts. Yet, it's predominantly dry with plenty of sunshine through the morning hours, accompanied by a gentle breeze. Wales, too, promises a stable day. It's definitely on the cool side, with a bit of sunshine to lighten the morning, though don’t expect any rain to disrupt your plans — it’s a good day for a proper walk in the autumn air. Across Northern Ireland, there’s a change in tempo later in the day. Beginning with a few sunny spells, clouds are expected to gather as we head towards the evening, bringing some rain along with a somewhat gusty wind, particularly affecting shorter journeys back home. The northern parts of England will notice a mixed bag. The north-east will contend with an overcast and damp start, but do look forward to brighter skies later on, while the northwest enjoys a generally dry day with splashes of morning sun. As for the Midlands, expect a frosty start giving way to drier and sunnier conditions by the afternoon. Western regions, including the south-west, remain largely untouched by rain, experiencing a dry day with plentiful sunshine in the early hours. It's slightly milder here, which might lift spirits a tad if you're venturing outside.
